Hi there! We’re LitWish.
We’re here to aid and abet your completely healthy obsession with all things books.
Reading books is great, but did you know that collecting books is a separate and totally valid hobby? Just look up “bibliophile” or “bibliolater” or “bookman.”
Okay, we might take issue with the term “bookman.” We digress.
What we’re trying to say is that you are perfect and amazing just the way you are. And if (like us) the way you are is “unable to stop buying books”- we’re here for you. We get it. Your shelves probably already overfloweth, and sometimes you need to clear some space for new additions!
There are plenty of things to do with books you’re ready to part with, but LitWish wants to make selling your treasured tomes (and maybe picking out a few new ones to fill those shelves back up) easy and fun!
No more low offers from used bookstores (though we do love browsing and fawning over shop cats), no more scrolling through days of posts on social media, no more confusion over which edition of a used book you’re ordering online, and no more struggling to figure out the most cost-effective way to ship your books!
So don’t fret if the library hold list for that new release is too long, or if you’re not sure you’ll love that book you just paid full price for- treat yourshelf! Support your local indie. Show your favorite author some love. Preorder that book you’re excited about. Read it. Savor it. Devour it. Up to you.

We’re going to have the best time getting you hyped about all things bookish. We’ve got news, recommendations, details on upcoming books and preorder goodies, and perhaps our most favorite thing- slightly unhinged listicles. We thought about calling them “LitWisticles” but someone told us it sounded too much like… something else.
